Cross Curricular Maths
Some examples of mathematics across our curriculum:
- In history, pupils use and construct a range of timelines that require the pupils to order events chronologically.
- Pupils continue to develop their knowledge and understanding of position and direction making links with points of the compass and coordinates during orienteering and map work in geography lessons.
- In science, pupils use their knowledge and understanding of tables and measures to accurately record, interpret and present data gathered during experimentation. Pupils also rely on their problem solving skills to answer enquiry questions where there may be more than one possible solution or outcome.
